Contact SafestCasino.ca: corrections, questions and rights
One mailbox, read by the person responsible for the page you are writing about.
The editorial mailbox
This address handles everything: corrections, questions about how a score was arrived at, requests from operators, rights and trademark enquiries, and press questions. We have deliberately not created a row of specialised addresses that all forward to the same place.
We read every message. We do not promise a reply to all of them — an approach offering to write content for us, of which there are many, will not get one.
Reporting an error in a score
This is the correspondence we most want, and a specific message gets acted on far faster than a general one. Tell us the page, the operator, and which of the six criteria you believe is wrong. If you have the primary document — the register entry, the certificate, the clause in the terms — a link to it settles the matter immediately.
What we cannot act on is a report that a score "seems too high" without a criterion attached, because the rubric is the only thing we can check against. If you disagree with the weights rather than the scoring, say so plainly: that is a legitimate argument and a different conversation, and our method page exists to make it possible.
Confirmed errors are published rather than quietly edited. Our corrections policy sets out how.
If you are an operator
Two kinds of message are useful. The first is a factual correction, handled exactly as above: point to the criterion and the document.
The second is the one that will actually move a score. Three of our six criteria are entirely within your control and none needs a regulator's permission: publish your testing laboratory certificate at a stable URL rather than describing the testing in prose, name the mechanism by which player funds are segregated instead of asserting that deposits are safe, and move withdrawal caps and processing windows out of the sub-clauses into the place a reader would look. Send us those and the score changes.
What will not move a score is a request to be ranked higher, an offer of payment for placement, or a request to remove an unfavourable criterion. There is no arrangement under which any of those is possible, and asking is recorded rather than acted on.
Rights, trademarks and takedowns
Operator names and logos are the trademarks of their owners and appear here for identification in editorial comparison. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any of them.
If you hold rights in material used on this site and believe the use exceeds identification, write to the mailbox above with the specific page, the specific asset and the basis of the claim. We will respond on the substance rather than reflexively removing material, and we will remove anything we should not be using.
What we cannot help with
We cannot act as your representative in a dispute with an operator, recover funds, or contact a casino on your behalf. We are a publication, not an ombudsman.
What we can do is point you at the right route. Each province page sets out where a complaint goes, and in Ontario the chain runs through the operator, then iGaming Ontario, then the AGCO. Detail on that is on our iGaming Ontario page.
If the difficulty is gambling itself rather than a specific operator, please do not write to us first. ConnexOntario answers from anywhere in Canada, free and confidential, at any hour, and the Responsible Gambling Council publishes provincial resources. Both are linked from our responsible gambling page.
